An Evil, 16 year-old Bio-Android
Comprised of: Innate Mastery, Natural Power, Keen Senses, Metamorphosis, Spiritualist and Elder.
Appearance...
Failure-64, often simply called 64, is a decidedly humanoid being with the features of a mature female Earthling. Supposedly, the foundation of what she now is was, in fact, some woman plucked from space and then used as a mold for something far superior.
However, whatever made her human before has since been warped in such a way that she edges into the uncanny valley. Her skin is as white as fresh snow, pristine and blemish-free. Her eyes are a faintly glowing crimson, with white pupils. From her forehead, a single horn curls upward and fades into a deep, inky black—the same color as her excessively long, straight hair, which often covers parts of her face.
In terms of attire, she trends toward simplicity: a black dress, or a grey blouse with matching pants. Nothing that would make her stand out any more than she already does. The only consistent feature is a thick, black-spiked collar fastened tightly around her neck. There is no lock, no seams, nothing to suggest that it was ever meant to be taken off.
She carries herself with an aloof confidence that some may mistake for arrogance, rather than the pure indifference she feels toward those around her. In conversation, she defaults to muted reactions and few words. On a chatty day, she may divulge as many as three entire sentences in response.
History...
The beginnings of "Failure-64" hail from an Earthling known for truly exceptional mastery over her Ki, as well as a unique knack for bringing out the best in her students. A solid foundation, most certainly. She was kidnapped, locked away, and then subjected to indescribable torment so that the secret behind her innate powers could be harnessed. That is what made up the core of this project.
Three years ago, that project would come to life at the hands of a person she would only know as The Doctor. It was a joyous occasion when she was able to walk, talk, and think for herself. Celebrations were held when she survived past three days. After 63 experiments, she was the first to be self-sufficient.
"Finally, a step towards harnessing the power of the gods!"
Though she was meant to be an artificial god he could control, he certainly did not treat her as such. Long days were spent exhausting the upper limits of what she was capable of, all of which were met with disappointment. From exercising her sheer strength, to solving complex equations, to manipulating her own Ki, everything about her was put to the test over the course of about a month.
The initial excitement turned to disappointment. Disappointment then turned to irritation. Irritation, finally, to defeat.
The Doctor never confided in 64 about what his aim was, or how far short of his expectations she had fallen. He said nothing about himself, nor did he care to learn anything more about 64 than what could be boiled down to a statistic. There was nothing between them beyond 64 going along with whatever task he put before her; she felt no strong emotions toward him, nor much of anything in particular. Perhaps that apathy was one of the reasons she would ultimately be marked a Failure.
After that month, the Doctor had become convinced that she was not the one, or perhaps felt too limited by what he was currently capable of to awaken what she needed. In either case, he drugged her and brought her to a room lined with tanks. Each tank offered a direct look into his various attempts to achieve his goal: starting with vague blobs of flesh and going all the way to what appeared to be fully grown beings. He placed her inside the tank labeled 64, where she would remain comatose for 16 years.
Until the shattering of glass freed her.
