The single most striking feature of Bryna is her long, two-toned hair. The outer layer is a distinct, silvery-blue, while the inside layer is a shimmering blue. As her hair wafts in the breeze, silver flashes through the blue, which creates the illusion of stars flickering in the distance. These long, perfectly maintained locks fall nearly to the ground and gently curl around her body, like a veil.

Like many of her fellow Kai, Bryna is on the shorter side and often looks up to those she's talking to. Yet, she carries herself tall and proud -- chin up, a smile on her face, and square shoulders -- which gives her a far more confident demeanor than her short stature would imply. Another similarity she shares with the Kai is her distinctly odd skin tone. Her flesh is a vibrant pink, like a Human who had spent just a bit too much time in the sun.

Granted, much of her skin is often covered by her "casual" armor. Metal plating covers her arms, legs, and forms a protective guard around her waist. Between the plates is thin, skin-tight black cloth and a matching black skirt that flares out just above her knee plating. The custom-made, and meticulously planned suit is adorned with feather-like flares. To top it all off, she never leaves home without wearing her feather-shaped crown.

The life of a Kai is a boring one.

Born and raised just like every other Kai, Bryna was herded into a sheltered, simple lifestyle of doing whatever she wanted... As long as she didn't interfere with the mortal realm, or upset the status quo, or spread forbidden knowledge, or... There are more rules than one would expect for a "God." Though disgruntled with her place in life, Bryna kept her head down and followed these rules. She stayed in line, busying herself with sparring with her companions or reading history books.

But more than anything, she loved to watch the lives of mortals. She watched, like a child enthralled by a flashy movie, as mortal beings struggled to achieve their goals. With their limited perspectives, limited understanding, more often than not, they failed. They struggled in vain, sometimes coming so close to the key to their success. All it would take is someone nudging them in the right direction.

Someone to guide them.

Naturally, Bryna would often complain, growl and huff over how short-sighted, and silly it was that she was forbidden from helping these people. People who could improve the entire universe! People who could have saved the obliteration of their entire race! People who could have led their nation to prosperity!

Eventually, these frustrations grew too much. After a particularly heated disagreement with her local elder, Bryna shouted two words and vanished:

"Kai Kai!"
